About the Venue
IRAKA is a traditional Japanese-style conference facility located within Nara Park, which is famous for its beauty and 1,200 tame deer. The architecture features a yosemune (hipped roof) design with Japanese roof tiles, evoking the elegance of the Tenpyo era. The venue includes a classical Noh stage, where invited speakers will have the unique opportunity to give their talks. Surrounding the building is a spacious Japanese garden filled with seasonal flowers and various bird species. The conference banquet is planned to be held in this beautiful garden setting.
Nara was the capital of Japan from 710 A.D. to 784 A.D., and has many historical shrines and temples containing national treasures. Famous tourist spots such as Kofukuji Temple, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Shrine are within walking distance from the hall.

A shuttle bus to the venue is scheduled to run once in the morning and once in the evening.
・On foot
Approximately 20 minutes’ walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. 30minutes’ walk from Kintetsu Nara Station.
・By bus
- (1) From Exit 5 of Kintetsu Nara Station: Nara Kotsu Bus, Bus stop 1
- (2) From JR Nara Station East Exit: Nara Kotsu Bus, Bust stop 2
From both (1) and (2), take:
- The bus bound for Kasuga Taisha Honden and get off at Nara Kasugano International Forum Iraka-mae (right in front of the venue), or
- The City Loop (Outer Loop) bus and get off at Todaiji Daibutsuden / Kasuga Taisha-mae, then walk 3 minutes east from the Daibutsuden intersection.
